The Westin Sarasota Hotel

The rooftop lounge was a lovely escape.

We experienced multiple issues that really dampened our experience. The valet parking was quite chaotic, and we often had to wait longer than expected for our car. The bathroom cleanliness was concerning, with grime on the walls and a lack of basic toiletries.

Pleasant overall experience. Genuinely helpful staff, fairly clean hotel, brand-new and spotlessly clean room. Top location for Sarasota, right by a beautiful area and restaurants and bars and Lido Beach. A huge variety of food options at a short distance from the venue. Excellent pool, parking on-site. Everything fine.

great access to parks and local attractions for city exploration

We stayed for 2 nights in a Standard 2 Queen with City View room and loved how close we were to the Unconditional Surrender Sculpture and the Sarasota Farmers Market. The only downside was that there wasn't much walking distance around the hotel, but it's easy to get everywhere due to the prime spot.

Valet staff was great, but restaurant service was way too slow.

I can't get over how gorgeous the rooftop pool is! With panoramic views of the bay and city, it's the perfect spot to sip a cocktail and soak in the sun. Plus, the poolside service.

The staff were really good, giving us an upgraded room with beautiful bay views. The rooftop bar was a highlight.

Great location and friendly service

The staff was friendly, especially Angela at check-in, and the amenities were fantastic. The shuttle service made getting around the area so easy, and we really enjoyed the rooftop bar with fine views. One downside was that the restaurant service could be a little slow, but overall, we loved our stay.

The woman at the front desk, Kayle, was fantastic. She caught on that we were there for our 50th anniversary so she surprised us with wine and strawberries. It was a touch. We reminded me of we were celebrating with the other guests when we brought those strawberries down to the bar, everybody was asking about them, we were the stars of the evening.

It wasn't cheap, let's face it, but could have been worse.

Room condition was poor while valet service was convenient.

The rooftop lounge with fire pits was fine, and the clean pool offered lovely bay views. The complimentary bikes were a nice touch. An enjoyable stay!

The staff were very good, especially when they surprised us with champagne and strawberries for my friend's birthday! The outdoor pool and spa treatments were super relaxing and just what we needed. The only downside was the restaurant service was a bit slow during breakfast, but it didn't ruin the experience at all 🍹

In my wife's opinion, the pool hours should be more family-friendly.

We loved the rooftop pool and enjoyed the amazing views from there! The upgraded room was perfect, and the breakfast was delicious! We will definitely return for our next girls weekend!
